Designing inclusive packaging that facilitates play and family bonding

This project consisted of designing packaging for a board game aimed at children with autism and their families, with the aim of translating previous research on ASD into a visual and functional proposal.

The packaging was conceived as the first point of contact with the game, so it had to be eye-catching, accessible, and friendly, conveying empathy and fun from the outset. In addition to guiding children and parents through the dynamics of use, the design sought to achieve a balance between aesthetics, functionality, and emotion, paying careful attention to typography, colors, and visual narrative.

Beyond its practical function, this project responded to the need to create inclusive and accessible materials, contributing to the visibility and normalization of tools designed for inclusion.

In this way, the packaging became a resource that fosters learning experiences, coexistence, and empathy, strengthening family bonds and social awareness around the autism spectrum.
